Drake Has Just Revealed The Release Date Of "Scorpion" : Everything You Need To Know About The New Album
Before the release of Drake’s anticipated Scorpion album, we’ve gathered everything that you need to know to get excited about the album's drop.
Drake's new album "Scorpion" finally has a release date. Nearly two months after revealing the title of the album.
Drake took to Instagram on June 13 to share about the album with the caption “JUNE 29 2018 🦂”.
(this can be the album artwork, although it hasn’t been officially confirmed)
Drake originally announced about Scorpion back in April, with an image depicting him wearing a bomber jacket with the first details surrounding the release.
But before releasing the name of the album he shared a picture of an iced-out chain with a scorpion in the center of the pendant. We’re assuming that the title is a reference to Drake’s astrological star sign Scorpio, given that his birthday is October 24.
But this is not it! Fans have been making predictions about the album on social media. After promotional billboards started popping up in Toronto the excitement kicked into the fans. Some have even shared on twitter too!

The billboards in Drake’s hometown have different sayings , including: “Changing from a boy to a man” and “Don’t hit me when you hear this.”
But one billboard — with the words “A Side B Side” — has gotten some extra attention. Fans believe the star, is hinting at a double album, and another billboard with the words “Is there more” is also fueling the doubts.

This has led some fans on Twitter to question whether Scorpion is set to be a double album and other suggested Drake could split things by genre with one "side" focusing on rap and the other leaning into his R&B songs.
For now let's hold our excitement and wait for 29 June, 2018.
