DC’s ‘Titans’ Robins First Look Shares A Canny Resemblence to Batman
Titans is one of the numerous new series that will be available exclusively through the upcoming DC Universe streaming service
DC Universe finally announced extensive details about its forthcoming streaming service. We’ve known for a long time that the foundational original series for DC Universe will be Titans, which follows young heroes from the DC Universe as they come of age.
Brenton Thwaites is playing Dick Grayson a.k.a. Robin in DC's live-action Titans series and the first look at him in costume teased an amazingly faithful and modern adaptation of the comics.
It’s also very clear from these images that this series will probably stand apart from Berlanti’s CW-verse DC shows like Arrow and The Flash. and no doubt Titans looks very dark.
I am pretty sure that the fans are excited to see Robin (Brenton Thwaites) and the rest of his heroic team together for the first time in live-action form and now that we have an official live-action Robin on the small screen and a live-action Batman currently on the big screen (Ben Affleck), fans are already dreaming of seeing the two together.
I know that the Titans does not take place in the DC Extended Universe, but just imagining what it would be like if this live-action Robin and the DCEU’s Batman would look like side-by-side in any capacity is exciting in an of itself.
For now, we have to suffice with our big screen adventures with Batman and our upcoming small screen adventures with Robin and the Titans.
DC universe will be home to several other live-action and animated series including Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Young Justice: Outsiders, and Harley Quinn.
