The 14-year Millie Bobby Brown who rose to stardom with the Netflix series Stranger Things when she debuted as the telekinetic Eleven in 2016. This created a passionate fanbase for her. And this fame made her the target of unwanted attention too.
While celebrity harassment on social media is a growing issue due to continued provocation, Brown joins actresses Daisy Ridley and Kelly Marie Tran in deactivating social media.
Brown has been a vocal advocate of LGBT+ rights for some time. But all the news doesn't seems to be true .
When the Second season premiere of Stranger Things launched, in 2017, an account going by the name “Kelsey Fiona” tweeted that Millie Bobby Brown had ripped off her hijab at the airport. Many questioning to Kelsey Fiona's Twitter photo, which did not include the hijab. After pointing out the authenticity of the tweet, and the fact that she did not wear a hijab, Fiona responded “because she [Brown] ripped it off me.“ The account was suspended and the news called out as fake , but the hashtag #TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown emerged.

Brown hasn't officially commented on why she abandoned the social media platform, though it's easy to see how much of an impact the memes would have on her.
