The original Teen Titans series ran on Cartoon Network from 2003 to 2006, even producing a movie Teen Titans Trouble in Tokyo.
Despite an avid fan following the show was cancelled
While the classic DC Comics team of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg are getting ready for their big screen debut, some fans are still sore over the previous iteration of the Teen Titans being overlooked.
And it seems like their prayers has been answered, according to voice actor Tara Strong, who plays Raven on both shows, it is very possible on one condition: that Teen Titans Go To The Movies is a hit.
WOW. Just so y’all know...at a movie session today, they told us that if the #TTGO movie kicks all butts they would do our show at the same time as #Season6 ...FOR REALS! So go see it! Even if you hate us!! 🤣🤣 https://t.co/GTm2MCwBNS— tara strong (@tarastrong) June 2, 2018
It's still not clear though that whether the show is for Cartoon Network or for the DC Universe streaming platform, but it sounds like return of the show is a real possibility.
Whether we see a revival of the original series depends on the success of Teen Titan GO which is due for release next month.
