Mysteries about Dumbledore explained !!
Have you heard of talking hats, birds melancholic singing, or chocolate names being used to open secret doorways, if you have then you know what I am talking about !!
It’s Harry Potter, yes, and all the above clues lead to a very significant character in the Series.
He is called Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, aka Professor Dumbledore .
"It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be."
He is one of the most loved characters in the Harry Potter Universe, mostly because he is that very caring yet sacrificing human.
He makes simple sentence sound mysterious, leaving riddles here and there, so one can figure out but never fully understand. He is a true Guide for any journey, the best teacher.
After all, to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure
He shows us that friendship and love are really integral part of life, without it a person can turn towards the negative.
This pain is part of being human, the fact that you can feel pain like this is your greatest strength
He is a really good judge of character, he trusted Severus Snape, even when everyone was against him, and it turned out that Snape was one of the most loyal followers of Dumbledore.
“Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
"After all this time?"
"Always," said Snape.”
Although, all along the Series, he was portrayed as a good man, he had a dark side too.
This hasn’t been bought up in the Movies, so it is not that well-known.
He practiced the Dark Arts and was obsessed with the Deathly Hallows, in his youth. He wanted to control them for the “Greater Good”. He wanted that the Magical Community exposes itself to the weaker Muggle world, because Wizards are naturally more powerful beings.
Dumbledore was homosexual and had a great attraction towards Gellert Grindelwald. They together wanted to expose the wizarding community.
A reason for this may have been , the involvement of Albus’ father with Muggles, he(his father) was sent to Azkaban as he had harmed three muggle boys, who teased her Daughter Ariana(yes, Albus had a sister and a brother too, named Aberforth).
Ariana was an obscurial, she died when a duel between Albus and Gellert took place, the reason is unknown.
Dumbledore lived in Godric’s Hollow in his youth.(The same place where Harry was born).
The character Dumbledore is played by two different actors in the Movie. In the first three instalments, it is played by Richard Harris. After his demise, the role was taken up by Michael Gambon. Many people confuse Sir Ian McKellen , who played Gandalf in the famous Lord of The Rings Series, with Michael Gambon. Interestingly enough, Ian was offered the role of Dumbledore after the departure of Harris, but he refused because Harris has never liked his acting.
Overall, he was a mysterious character, about whom we knew nothing till the 6th Book. That book bought a huge in the way, we perceive the man named Dumbledore.
