Netflix is all set to launch a game based on its popular series "Stranger Things" with Telltale games. One such announcement comes from Telltale Games, the studio behind a lot of well-regarded adventure games like The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and the appropriately named Batman: The Telltale Series.
On Twitter, the developers have announced that they’ve made a deal with Netflix to create an “interactive adventure” based on their Minecraft spin-off, Minecraft: Story Mode, and a proper Telltale game based on Stranger Things.
We're delighted by the response we're seeing to the idea of Minecraft: Story Mode coming to @Netflix in the fall as an interactive adventure. (1/3)— Telltale Games @ E3 (@telltalegames) June 13, 2018
According to a source that spoke confidentially to TechRadar, Telltale is developing a new series set in the Stranger Things universe. The source mentioned that the game was planned for launch alongside Season 2 of the hit Netflix show, but was postponed.
We don’t have much information or any tips for the game but Telltale games tend to follow a fairly standard house style and one would probably know what to expect if they’ve played their other games.
